New York City Winter Cards

Snow found us mid-walk through Brooklyn, no warning, just the city going quiet and soft while we weren't paying attention. By the time we turned back, everything looked like it belonged to the world again instead of just to itself. That is what these cards are about.

Six watercolor-style scenes: skyscrapers and ice rinks, lit trees against a winter sky, plazas holding snow the way only a city plaza can. The palette runs deep: navy, teal, aqua, a burn of orange in the windows. Nothing on the front says anything. It doesn't need to.

You can't send someone the feeling of a city under first snow. You can send the closest thing to it. 24 cards, 6 designs, 4 x 5.5 inches, blank inside. A love letter to New York, in the most literal sense of that phrase.

For the person who left New York and still hasn't quite. For the one who's never been but carries a picture of it.
