Purple Christmas Card Set

This is a Christmas card set in purple, the quiet, snow-muffled, dreamy version that lives in your head more than it ever arrives outside.

Most Christmas cards hand you the holiday everyone agreed on. Red, green, a wreath, a bow. Nothing wrong with any of it, except that it isn't how a lot of people actually experience Christmas in their minds. The version in their heads is softer. More like a feeling than a decoration. Purple-lit and still, with snow on the ground and trees that glow in colors nobody planned.

These cards are that version. 12 illustrated winter scenes, pale pink and lavender trees, purple evergreens, a sky somewhere between dusk and dream, 24 cards total at 4 x 5.5 inches, no text on any design. What the image carries is the whole message.

Giving a card like this takes a small amount of courage. You are not handing someone the standard holiday. You are handing them something that looks like the Christmas you carry around. Whoever receives it will know the difference.

For someone who has spent years reaching for the red-and-green version and feeling like something was missing, this is the one that finally looks right.
