This piece is so over the top gorgeous, we are obsessed. We started with a rare vintage silver butterfly that is literally solid rhinestones, punctuated with larger stones in the wings and body. Check out the amazing construction of this 1950s piece by zooming in on the back view. We married it to a simple 1950s rhinestone necklace, so that when worn you have a statement piece in the front and a surprise detail in the back. The perfect piece for an updo.

A unique headband combining the old and new. We met an old-school milliner and acquired her collection of velvet flowers, leaves and other bits. This piece has a bold "something blue" feather panel accented with one of the milliner's vintage hand-dyed velvet flowers, showing beautiful watery shades of blues and greens. We used a vintage silver bugle-bead chevron trim to cover the metal band. Microsuede backing. Handcrafted in The Ritzy Rose's studio in Pickerington, Ohio.
