Skull Valentine's Day Cards

Valentine's Day gets awkward the second the feeling is real but the relationship isn't romantic. You care about this person. You want them to know it. And almost every card at the rack is going to say the wrong thing, or make them wonder what you meant.

A skull wearing heart-shaped glasses is warm and funny and a little weird, and that combination gives you cover. It says you're great, I see you, you should feel good about yourself without loading the relationship with anything it wasn't carrying before. You can hand it to your closest friend, your work wife, the guy friend you never get sentimental with, and it lands exactly right.

The skull is fine-line engraving work, dense, a little severe, and then the red heart glasses are just sitting there. That tension is the whole joke. It's also why the warmth is safe to say out loud.
