Southern Mansion Christmas Cards

Some houses stop you before you can explain why, built by people who were clearly trying to say something, and said it. These cards start there.

Two watercolor designs, both centered on that kind of house: pink facades, steep rooflines, spires, arched windows, evergreen wreaths. The palette runs soft, blue, green, cream, a little slate, the kind of colors that feel like the South at Christmas without announcing it. Light, as intended.

What's hard to explain about wanting to send these is that it has almost nothing to do with Christmas being Christmas. It has to do with not wanting to reach for something generic when you actually mean it. The person on the other end opens an envelope and gets a moment of arrested attention, a house that stops them the same way it stopped you.

Twenty-four folded cards, 4 x 5.5 inches, blank inside, across two designs, designed and printed in-house in Ohio.

The sending feels as considered as the people you're sending to.
