Thankful Fall Cards

Gratitude is easy when everything is coming back to life. Fall asks for something harder, to stop and say thank you while the light is going and the year is running out. Most people mean to. This card is for the ones who actually do.

A wide band of autumn leaves, maples, birches, oaks, moves across the top in red, orange, magenta, and slate blue. Loose black brushstrokes and marks run behind them. Below: white space, and the word thankful in red script, small and unhurried in the corner.

When the right person opens one of these 24 folded cards, printed in Columbus, Ohio at 4 x 5.5 inches, they will know that someone stopped, right in the middle of everything getting darker and quieter, and thought of them specifically. That is not nothing to put in someone's hands.
