Third Eye Skull Cards

The eye in the forehead is looking at something you can't see. Once you're inside this card, you're not entirely sure you're not inside it.

The checkerboard pulls toward a vanishing point that never arrives. The skull faces you straight on, hollow where eyes should be, alive where they shouldn't. The rainbow cuts across the whole thing like a frequency only certain people can tune to. Psychedelic in the way that actually means something, that rock-and-roll, third-eye, something-is-looking-back-at-you feeling that's hard to explain to someone who doesn't already know it.

The third eye carries its own weight. For the right person it's not decoration. It's a belief: that ordinary reality isn't the only one, that something else is always just behind whatever you're looking at. Mystery and wonder and something a little unsettling, held in the same frame without either one winning.

Finding a card that sounds like you, not like a card aisle, is harder than it should be. This one doesn't reach for warm. It reaches for true.
