Season's Greetings Village Church Christmas Cards

There's a church at the edge of town with the lights on, and everyone is already heading there, and this holiday card captures that pull exactly.

The sleigh rounding the bend, the figures on the snow-covered road, the windows burning amber against a sky going pink at the horizon, you feel like you are about to arrive somewhere you belong.

The original art came from Joseph Hoover and Sons of Philadelphia, one of the largest American print publishers of the nineteenth century, who produced hundreds of thousands of chromolithographs a year because images like this one worked on people. The weight you feel looking at it is not manufactured nostalgia. It is the real thing.

The holidays get loud. This card is quiet and means it. It shows a village where everyone is moving toward the same light, for the same reason, and lets whoever opens it feel that pull without having to say a word about it.

Each of the 24 folded cards measures 4 x 5.5 inches, opens to a blank interior ready for your words, and arrives with envelopes. Designed and printed in Columbus, Ohio.

Some cards say something. This one takes you somewhere.
