Women Together Cards

A crowd of women on a greeting card, each one specific, different hair, different skin, different clothes, same hot pink frame. Nobody blurred out to make the whole thing work.

Most designs that try to show togetherness end up softening everyone into a kind of pleasant sameness. This one keeps the hijab, the hoop earring, the polka-dot top, the natural curl and still reads as one thing, held together by color and composition rather than by anyone disappearing.

We noticed what the design was doing after we finished it. The unity landed in the picture itself, not in the intention behind it.

24 cards, 4 x 5.5 inches, blank inside, enough for a whole organization, or a circle that keeps getting wider.

The kind of card you send when a generic one would feel like a contradiction.
