It's time for our big announcement!
After nearly a decade of incredible, challenging experiences working in corporate design, I have made the decision to leave my job designing for Limited Brands, and go off on my own to fully focus on The Ritzy Rose!
This is an absolute dream come true for me, and it is something I've been working passionately towards for years.
What does that mean for you? The Ritzy Rose is about to transform from something I tried to keep up with, into a full-time endeavor that will allow me to continually develop new ideas and product ranges. Jason and I will be free to travel farther for our buying trips, list more vintage items in our two Etsy shops, and meet with many more clients. I can finally start putting all of the ideas into works that have been floating around my head for the past several years. It means that it's time to grow The Ritzy Rose from a couple of successful products into a compelling and diverse brand.
When I started my business last August, Jason and I had a five year plan for The Ritzy Rose. We thought that perhaps after several years of building up our business, I would then consider leaving my job designing for Bath & Body Works. We've both been shocked at the volume of orders that have come in, and the amount of attention and press the brand has received.
I've realized that the time has come to devote all of my energy towards The Ritzy Rose. There are so many great new products that I want to offer my clients. I've barely been able to keep up with orders working two full time jobs, let alone expand into new areas.
I'm sad to say goodbye to such a great family at Bath & Body Works, but I cannot possibly explain how excited I am for what the future holds. Thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in me during my first ten months in business- my husband, family, coworkers, friends, and most of all my wonderful clients.
