This awesome bride, Mel, is English and every bit as quirky as she seemed while we planned her bouquet.

Such a cool necklace! 

She had this stunning bird hand beaded on the side of her dress.

I love the pictures from her retro 1950s, circus and toy-themed wedding!

This is a great example of how a bride challenged me to make a bizarre and over-the-top bouquet.  She told me a little bit about herself, emphasizing that most of her friends would expect something weird and wacko, and let me go crazy!

For the seasoned moms out there (especially the SAHMs), I'm guessing you know exactly how many days until school starts. My oldest is starting kindergarten this year, and it's definitely pretty bittersweet - while I've been waiting my whole life to buy school supplies and cute outfits for my own kiddos, I'm also kinda crying on the inside that my little baby is growing up so fast!

Keep it simple, they said... don't offer too many options, they said. I think we've all heard the advice that when offering products to your customers, don't overwhelm them with choices.

But we never listened to that advice. In fact, we went in the opposite direction and offered literally thousands of combinations. 

Logistically, we make every single sign when the order comes in, so it's not actually that crazy for us to offer so many choices....
