Happy 2016! It's one of my new year's resolutions to blog more, so I'm starting out the first work day of 2016 at a funny little German coffee shop in rural Ohio.
Today's blog post is about my dear cousin's wedding in Palm Springs, California. Kara & Cory, originally from Ohio having lived in both NY and LA, perfectly blended their modern, rustic style. Read on to see the gorgeous details, like her Ritzy Rose wildflower bouquet, construction-themed boutonniere, "Here Comes the Bride" signs, custom Christian Louboutin red-soled pumps and Valentino wedding gown. Photos by Matthew David Studio, Palm Beach, California. This one is very near and dear to my heart, so enjoy!
For her bouquet, Kara wanted something organic and timeless. We went with a wildflower look, combining the feeling of lavender, moss, Iceland poppies and burlap. I added a few important pieces of jewelry from her family, and here's the result.
Kara wore a pair of shoes that Christian Louboutin designed just for her (I know, she's that lucky/connected).
She chose a stunning beaded Valentino gown. How perfect is that neckline?
For Kara and Cory's son, we designed a construction-themed boutonniere. This two year old can tell you the difference between a front loader and a backhoe, so we had to get it just right.
They went with a package of three "Here Comes the Bride" signs for the three littlest girls in the ceremony.
Congratulations Kara & Cory!
